Mumbai - Gateway of India

Mumbai is the financial capital of India, the largest democratic country in the world. Mumbai was originally called as Bombay during the period of British rule.  This place in Mumbai (formerly Bombay) was developed as a planned locality for the British to stay during their rule. There is mile stone placed near the Gateway of India from where the distance is calculated. Modern day Mumbai is hugely populated with tons of building and vicinity grown around it. This stands just opposite to Taj, one of the premium hotels in India under the umbrella of the TATA group.
